Bihar School Examination Board is responsible for drafting exam patterns. It is the phase where the student’s talent can be assessed based on the results scored in these examinations. Class 1st-8th
The Bihar Council recommends and defines the curriculum for Bihar grades 1-8. It describes the math, science, and social studies curriculum recommended by the BSEB for elementary school grades. All schools on the Bihar Board follow BSEB-approved programs. From time to time, the committee reviews and updates the curriculum according to the requirements of the curriculum. Therefore, students should pay attention to curriculum changes as it is essential for students to have a good understanding of the curriculum to be successful in any type of exam.
Bihar Council's curriculum for grades 1-8 includes five core subjects: English, Science, Mathematics, Hindi, and Social Sciences.
BSEB Class 9th
To pass the BSEB Class 9 examination, students must obtain the minimum marks in each subject.
Students who receive 300 or more marks in total get first division.
The second division is granted to students who score between 225 and 300.
Students who score between 150 and 225 receive third division.
Students who receive less than the declared grade are considered unsuccessful.
BSEB Class 10th
To pass the BSEB Class 10 examination, students must obtain the minimum marks in each subject.
BSEB Class 11th
Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is the exam conducting body for Class 11 exams in Bihar. It includes the subject's name, weightage of various sections in the paper, type of questions, and marks distribution for the board examination.

BSEB Class 12th
Bihar Board class 12 exam pattern will include subjective as well as MCQ-based questions. Subjects including both theory and practical exams will have 42 MCQs out of which students have to attempt 35. 100 marks paper will contain 60 MCQs out of which students will have to attempt 50 and 50 marks paper will have 30 MCQs out of which 25 questions have to be attempted.
There will be 8 long-answer questions on 100 marks paper and 6 on the case 70 marks paper. The long-answer questions will be of 5 marks each. For 100 marks paper out of 25, 15 questions of 2 marks must be answered whereas for 70 marks it will be 10 out of 18. There will be no 3 marks questions and the language papers will have more than 5 marks questions.
