What are the Main Objectives of CBSE?
Established in 1952, CBSE works on certain principles to fulfill the following goals:
- To determine suitable methods of academic activities to provide a
stress free ,child focused and all-round education to all children without compromising on the quality.
- To examine and supervise the quality of academic activities by gathering
the feedback from different stakeholders
- To develop norms for the implementation of several academic activities including quality issues; to control and organize the execution of several academic and training plans of the Board; to organize academic activities and to monitor other agencies involved in the operation
- To adjust and innovate methods to reach traditional academic excellence with psychological, academic and social rules.
- To encourage schools to document the progress of students with a teacher and student friendly manner
- To organize various capacity building and empowerment programs to update the professional competency of instructors
- To propose conditions of examinations and conduct
open examination at the end of Class X and XII.
- To satisfy the educational demands of those students whose parents were employed in transferable jobs
- To prescribe and update the course of instructions of examinations
- To affiliate institutions for the purpose of examination and advance the academic standards of the state.
